Several irregularities in a private hospital were discovered during a raid, where it was found that the hospital was carrying out surgeries without qualified and authorized surgeons, along with prohibited medicines being sold by an unlicensed medical shop on the campus.

Following the raid, the hospital as well as the medical shop were sealed, and an FIR was registered against its staff and the owner of the hospital.

Mr. Mohit Kumar, SDM, stated that the medical store was being run without a license on the premises of the "illegal" hospital. He added that there was no fire clearence at the NOC. Although a certificate for Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) was found, no plant was present.

The patients recuperating in the hospital, including five women, have been shifted to the district hospital for treatment.
