A sophisticated integrated robotic system for spine surgery was introduced by BLK-Max Super Specialty Hospital. The software platform is made to improve spine surgery′s precision and safety, and it supports the surgical suite where these qualities are crucial for the best results.

During complex surgeries, the technology uses artificial intelligence (AI) to visualize the architecture of the spine. Robotic surgeries provide data integration, which is helpful for these spine operations and allows clinicians to modify the surgical strategy for each patient. The integrated spinal robot navigates spinal procedures. Because they are more effective and plan-driven, robotic operations increase the procedures objectivity.

Dr Puneet Girdhar, Senior Director & Head, Orthopaedic Spine Surgery, BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital  said “In today’s advanced medical times’ robotic spinal surgeries are the safest route for procedures that require extreme precision and accuracy. They not only promise positive outcomes but also involve minimal complications throughout the surgery.”

Dr. Anil Kansal, Senior Director and Head of Neuro Surgery and Neuro Spine for Neurosciences in the BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi, stated that robotic surgery will significantly enhance the results of complex operations due to its high level of precision. The main concern in spine surgery is an unfavourable outcome from improper screw placement. Robotic spine surgery can now fully prevent these issues by quickly and adequately putting screws with the best possible results.

Dr. Mradul Kaushik, Senior Director of Operations and Planning and Chief Operating Officer, Cluster-1, Max Healthcare, commented on the launch and said that robot assisted surgeries have developed into a crucial tool for healthcare professionals to perform surgeries and are now being used for almost all specialties. At BLK-Max Hospital, they have introduced India′s most sophisticated integrated spinal robot navigation system for spine surgeries.
