The minister said that certain nations, notably China and Japan, are seeing an abrupt increase in instances. Hospitalizations are increasing in China. As a result, more concentration should be given on booster dose coverage. According to the Center′s recommendations, steps have been taken to send samples for genome sequencing to identify novel variants.
