USFDA Gives Final Approval for Insomnia Drug Produced by Zydus Life

On Friday, Zydus Lifesciences received final approval from the US health regulator to market its generic version of Triazolam tablets. Triazolam is used to treat insomnia on a short-term basis.

 

The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) approved the sale of triazolam tablets containing 0.125 mg and 0.25 mg. The drug is used to treat insomnia and difficulty falling or staying asleep by slowing brain activity to allow sleep.

 

The company stated that the formula will be manufactured in the manufacturing facility at Moraiya, Ahmedabad.
