Uttar Pradesh: In Meerut, a woman and her newborn baby died in a tragic incident after a quack doctor allegedly sliced a vein during a C-section operation. According to reports, the event happened at the Ratan nursing facility on Parikshitgarh Road in Makwana town. The victims family has accused the doctors of egregious medical negligence.

The expectant woman was reportedly taken to the nursing home when she began to experience labor pains. However, the doctor accidentally sliced the womans vein during delivery. As a result, the mother and child died due to extreme blood loss.

Following the incident, the womans family allegedly vandalized the nursing facility and caused a commotion. The doctor and nursing home employees fled the area after observing the rage. They also filed a case of medical negligence at the Mawana police station.

When the police reached the hospital, they sent the womans body for an autopsy. A spokesperson from the police department stated that the case is under investigation.
