Apollo Telehealth has reported that more than 10,000 patients have used its Good Nidra service, which was launched in March 2022 to help patients manage obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). The sleep program provides doctors and OSA patients with an alternative therapy that includes screening and diagnosis at home or in the hospital, utilizing technologically based tools that Apollo claims are user-friendly and reasonably priced.

The telehealth platform stated that their program utilized fully functional Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) devices with connected facilities for remotely monitoring treatments, in addition to a back-end support team consisting of sleep technicians, sleep coaches, and counselors to instruct and direct patients at every stage of the treatment program.

Dr. Sangita Reddy, joint managing director of Apollo Hospitals Group, explained the importance of sleep therapy by saying, "Sleep deprivation is a silent pandemic that can have detrimental effects on health, businesses, and economies. Sleep apnea is a dangerous chronic disorder that impairs a patients ability to sleep as well as their overall health and quality of life.
