In the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting, Art Papier, MD, Co-founder and CEO of VisualDx, describes the usefulness of VisualDx in a dermatology setting.

VisualDx, a diagnostic clinical support system with a curated medical image library, allows physicians to construct custom diagnostics for patients and tools to improve their engagement.

It enables dermatologists in the exam room to work with patients, reducing their anxiety and fears by showing them images. VisualDx is also helpful in identifying medication reactions that are tedious to remember.

At last, Papier said, "VisualDx has become an efficient, accurate tool and an educational tool in dermatology. The company honors equitability and thus has created a collection of images in both light and dark skin."
