Due to medical malpractice, the Telangana State Medical Council has issued orders suspending the registration of two doctors.The orders from April 12 state that Dr. CH Srikanth would be suspended for three months for allegedly taking too long to submit a case to a higher center, while Dr. Karan M. Patel would have his name deleted from the medical register for six months for performing surgery on the wrong foot.

One of the orders noted, "Dr. Karan M. Patel, bearing Registration number 64588, was found guilty of misconduct for operating on the right calcanium instead of the left calcanium, which was noticed after the operation."

The instructions further stated that both doctors have a 60-day window to appeal to the National Medical Commission.
