According to a recent study, a soft skin patch has been developed that can detect early signs of cardiovascular problems such as heart attack , stroke and identify poor circulation in the limbs, or blockages in the arteries or other heart valve issues. The patch is designed to adhere to the skin and monitor various health parameters such as body temperature, blood pressure, and other indicators of cardiovascular health.

The patch is made of a material that is both soft and stretchable, making it comfortable to wear for long periods. It contains tiny electronic sensors that can detect changes in the bodys vital signs, such as increases in body temperature or blood pressure.

The patch could be particularly useful for people who are at risk of heart attack or stroke, as it can provide early warnings of potential problems. It could also be used by medical professionals to monitor patients with heart conditions more closely.

The patch is a non-invasive device that can sense and measure cardiovascular signals as deep as 14 centimeters inside the body with high accuracy. It is made up of a thin sheet of flexible, stretchable polymer and an array of millimeter-sized ultrasound transducers, each individually controlled by a computer. The phased array uses ultrasound transducers to create Doppler frequency shifts, which can be used to create visual recordings of blood flow and moving images of the hearts walls.

While the patch is still in the testing phase, it shows promising results and could potentially revolutionize the way we detect and prevent heart disease.
