Two Satellite Hospitals approved by The Rajasthan Govt in Karbala

The Rajasthan state government permitted to establish two satellite hospitals, four blood banks, three primary health centers (PHCs), and the conversion of 158 sub-health facilities into PHCs on Friday.

 

According to Health Minister Parsadi Lal Meena, the state government has approved the conversion of 158 sub-health centers to PHCs in accordance with CM Ashok Gehlots Budget Statement for 2023-24. Along with this, the government has gave permission to establish two satellite hospitals in Karbala, one in Jaipur and one in Chittorgarh, both with 50 beds. In addition, four blood banks and a new PHC will open. The government has also permitted for blood banks to be established at sub-district hospitals in Bangu (Chittorgarh), Nohar-Hanumangarh, Nawalgarh Jhunjhunu, and Jayal-Nagaur.

 

The government has also sanctioned establishing new primary health care clinics in Basai-Rupwas, Ghati Mohalla-Dungarpur, and Kachipura-Masalpur, as well as urban primary health care centers in Barmer. 

 

In addition, 1,584 positions for physicians and employees have been granted. The agency has also approved 1,584 staff positions, including specialist physicians and 172 machine-with-man positions for improved and newly formed medical facilities.
