With the COVID-19 pandemic coming to an end, people are now struggling to protect themselves against the brewing climate conundrum. Climate change is another worldwide phenomenon threatening human health. Several experts have revealed that a warming planet will have severe implications for human health, especially after understanding the disproportionate manner in which the giants abuse the impoverished.

Out of all the four dire ways in which climate change could threaten human life, India is no stranger to the mosquito menace since our natural climate is highly suitable for insects. According to 2014 research, shifting climates have assisted mosquito migration to higher elevations and latitudes. Increasing rainy occurrences assist them in expanding their mating grounds, while growing mercury allows them to reproduce faster and for longer periods.

Lyme disease is not a prevalent disease in India. However, Lyme disease remains a public health concern in India, with prominent outbreaks detected in Haryana and Assam. Additionally, Lyme disease has been on the rise recently, with experts attributing climate change as a contributing reason.

In comparison to Americans, one to four in ten Indians suffer from the allergen. In sensitive individuals, this allergy can potentially cause severe asthma episodes. According to the study, as carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere continue to rise, plants have begun to bloom sooner and release pollen for longer periods of time year after year. These elements have the potential to increase the frequency of pollen-related hospitalizations.

Lastly, several experts fear that with the planet warming up, the world might face the emergence of zombie viruses slumbering in frozen Arctic soils as they thaw. They are concerned that the frozen mummies would end up swapping genetic elements with current germs, resulting in the creation of "superbugs" that will eventually kill species and destabilize ecosystems, putting human health in danger.
