Delhi High Court Permits Teen to End 24-Week Pregnancy

On Monday, the Delhi High Court allowed a 13-year-old sexual assault survivor to have a pregnancy of more than 24 weeks terminated medically.After hearing the report provided by the medical board that examined the juvenile girl, a vacation bench led by Justice Jasmeet Singh issued the ruling. 

 

The minor, who was sexually abused in January, had petitioned the high court last week for permission to kill the pregnancy with the assistance of certified medical practitioners.
