A study published in the American Heart Journal aimed at describing provoking factors, cardiac biomarker profiles, treatment patterns, and clinical outcomes of patients with type 2 myocardial infarction. The results demonstrated that type 2 myocardial infarctions were relatively more prevalent in the first month after acute coronary syndrome.
