Heart attack patients on antidepressants have poor prognosis

According to research presented March 3, 2018 at Acute Cardiovascular Care 2018, a European Society of Cardiology congress in Milan, Italy, Heart attack patients prescribed antidepressants have lower one-year survival rate. Patients prescribed antidepressants were mainly female, older, and more likely to have hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, obesity and comorbidities.
