High daily coffee consumption increases risk of metabolic syndrome risk in type 1 diabetes

Drinking three or more cups of filtered coffee daily increases the risk of developing metabolic syndrome, especially the blood pressure component in patients with type 1 diabetes, suggests a study published online February 1 in Nutrition, Metabolism & Cardiovascular Diseases.
