Some patients on thyroid hormone replacement experience symptoms despite normal thyroid hormone levels

Some patients on replacement thyroid hormone (LT4 or levothyroxine) may have more comorbidities and lower quality of life than those who do not take the hormone, a large population-based study presented March 20, 2018 at ENDO 2018, the 100th annual meeting of the Endocrine Society in Chicago, Illinois. These patients continue to experience symptoms and disturbed well-being.
