The Indore administration revoked Yashlok Hospital’s registration for unauthorized services and negligence leading to a patient’s death. The operators and staff faced legal actions and warnings, with the hospital ordered to shut down immediately.
The Indore district administration has canceled the registration of Yashlok Hospital following allegations of medical negligence leading to a patient’s death. District Collector Asheesh Singh ordered an investigation by CMHO Dr. B.S. Saitya, revealing unauthorized maternity services and non-compliance with the Madhya Pradesh Nursing Homes Act.
The hospital, operated by Mr. SatyenSikarwar and Mrs. Bhavana Sharma under a lease from Dr.AkshatLahoti, was found unfit for procedures. Mr. Sikarwar, a BEMS degree holder, was unlawfully using the title "Doctor," violating state laws.
Several show-cause notices were issued to the operators, while involved medical staff received warnings. The hospital’s registration was revoked under Section 6(1) of the Act, and it has been ordered to cease operations immediately.
