AIIMS Delhi has been ranked 97th in the World's Best Hospitals 2024 list by Newsweek and Statista, highlighting India's growing healthcare excellence. Medanta and PGIMER also featured, showcasing the nation's global medical prowess.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has been ranked the 97th best hospital globally in the World's Best Hospitals 2024 list by Newsweek and Statista. This achievement highlights AIIMS, Delhi's leadership in healthcare, research, and affordable treatment. The ranking, now in its sixth edition, evaluated over 2,400 hospitals across 30 countries based on patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, hygiene, and expert recommendations.
Two other Indian hospitals also featured: Medanta - The Medicity, Gurgaon, ranked 146th for its excellence in cardiology, oncology, and organ transplantation, while PGIMER, Chandigarh, secured the 228th spot, recognised for its contributions to medical education and specialised care. The listings reflect India's rising global stature in delivering world-class healthcare.
