The NTA has launched a platform to report suspicious activities related to the NEET-UG exam, following last year's irregularities. Meanwhile, Karnataka urges the National Medical Commission to increase medical seats to address the growing gap between aspirants and available spots.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the launch of a dedicated platform to report suspicious activities related to the NEET-UG exam, as a preventive measure following last year's paper leak.
NTA Director General Pradeep Singh Kharola emphasized that candidates can report unauthorized websites, individuals claiming access to the exam content, and impersonators posing as NTA or government officials. The initiative supports the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, aiming to curb unfair practices in public examinations. NEET-UG is scheduled for May 4.
In a related development, the Karnataka government has called on the National Medical Commission to address the widening gap between the number of NEET aspirants and available medical seats, urging a significant increase in undergraduate medical seats.
