Delhi has launched its first dedicated brain health clinic at Indira Gandhi Hospital, Dwarka, offering neurological screening, therapy, and tele-neurology services. The initiative aims to expand similar centres across all districts, aligned with national brain health goals.
Delhis first dedicated brain health clinic has been inaugurated at Indira Gandhi Hospital in Dwarka, aiming to provide district-level neurological care within a year. The clinic, opened by Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Singh on May 17, 2025, offers screening and treatment for conditions like stroke, epilepsy, Parkinsons, dementia, and migraines. It also provides counselling and tele-neurology for follow-up care.
Established under Indias Brain Health Initiative with support from NITI Aayog and IHBAS, the clinic will serve as a model for similar centres across Delhis 11 districts. Dr. Singh emphasized early treatment and pledged to expand such centres citywide. This initiative aligns with national brain health recommendations and Chief Minister RekhaGuptas vision for a future-ready healthcare system.
