Glyburide not a first-line treatment for gestational diabetes

New research examining the effect of glyburide vs subcutaneous insulin on perinatal complications among women with gestational diabetes published online May 1, 2018 in JAMA recommends against glyburide, an oral sulfonylurea drug, as a first-line treatment for gestational diabetes.
