The Endocrine Society has issued a clinical practice guideline on the treatment for gender-dysphoric/gender-incongruent people, commonly referred to as transgender, to develop the physical characteristics of the affirmed gender. The guideline was published online September 13, 2017and will appear in the November 2017 print issue of the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.
