A study published May 2, 2018 in Arthritis Research & Therapy has reported worse structural and clinical outcomes in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who also had hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection, with 53% patients showing significantly more radiographic progression at 1 year compared with 17% of uninfected RA patients.
