In one of its orders, MCI-211(2)/2011-Ethics/ F.No. 396/2009, the Ethics Committee of MCI observed: “The Ethics Committee considered the complaint against Dr. Rakesh Verma and noted that as per Regulations as well as Legal opinion given by Law Officer of the Council which states that as under:- “Supreme Court has laid down the law that the review is not permissible where is no provision.” Hence, the Ethics Committee has no powers to review the matter.”
