Children are less likely to be obese if their mothers adopt a healthy lifestyle

Children of mothers who maintained a healthy weight, exercised regularly, did not smoke, ate a healthy diet, and were light to moderate drinkers are at a substantially lower risk of developing obesity compared to children of mothers who dont make healthy lifestyle choices, suggests a study reported in The BMJ.
