AAP guidelines on addressing sexual and reproductive health topics with teenagers

A new report from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) offers guidance to pediatricians on providing appropriate health care services and education to teens and young adults to prevent sexually transmitted infections and unintended pregnancies. The report published online October 23, 2017 in Pediatrics says that conversations on sexual and reproductive health may be initiated during a single office visit or over the course of several visits.
