Men who binge drink have higher systolic BP and total cholesterol levels
Men aged 18‐45 years with a repeated history of binge drinking have higher systolic blood pressure and total cholesterol levels compared with non–binge drinkers, according to results of a new study published online June 27, 2018 in the Journal of the American Heart Association. Hence, young adults need to be screened and counseled about alcohol misuse, including binge drinking.
