Asian Indians increase their risk of developing diabetes by adopting poor lifestyle habits

Adopting American habits by Asian Indians who had been living in the United States was found to be bad for cardiometabolic health, suggests a study presented June 22, 2018 at the recent American Diabetes Association 2018 Scientific Sessions in Orlando, Florida. The study subjects with an unhealthy diet had poor A1c levels and those who led a sedentary lifestyle had poor HDL-C levels.
