Good long-term improvement after reverse shoulder replacement in patients under 60

According to a study published October 26 2017 in The Journal of Bone Joint Surgery a reverse total shoulder arthroplasty RTSA results in significant long term improvement in shoulder function in patients younger than 60 years with severe damage to the rotator cuff muscles without clinical deterioration beyond 10 years. But it is a substantial complication rate.
