Hospitalized acute MI patients with hyperglycemia at risk of VT

Patients hospitalized with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) with hyperglycemia are at increased risk for developing ventricular tachycardia (VT). The study reported October19, 2018 in Cardiovascular Diabetology suggests that these patients should be carefully monitored early after hospital admission, to reduce their risk of VT.
