Thieves broke in and entered and robbed a PGI doctor and fled with gold, silver and cash. A resident in the plastic surgery department, Dr Raghwinder Kharwar said that Rs 20,000 in cash, two gold chains, two gold bangles, 10 silver coins and some silver anklets were stolen.

His wife kept the house keys in a place near a flower pot which explains the lock still being intact and not broken. Police is monitoring the CCTV evidence for clues.
