First appropriate use criteria for peripheral artery intervention

For the first time, appropriate use criteria (AUC) have been issued to provide guidance as to which interventions and devices to use along with those which should be avoided in the management of patients with peripheral artery disease (PAD). The new guidelines are published online Dec. 17, 2018 in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
