Resident doctor in Jaipur hospital mercilessly beats up patient

A resident doctor in Rajasthan was videographed mercilessly thrashing a patient. According to news agency ANI, the incident took place on Sunday at Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College in Jaipur.

In the video which is been circulated, the resident doctor, wearing a blue shirt and a surgical mask, is seen throwing punches at a man wearing a white vest. After a certain point the man at the end of the doctors rage falls back on a hospital bed. The doctor then climbs on top of the bed, holds the man down and continues to slap him multiple times.

There were few other doctors and patients present during the attack. But, none of them interfered. Then, the man who was being slapped by the resident doctor starts kicking so some of the bystanders tried to pin the mans legs down to the bed, to prevent him from kicking.

After some time, one of the other doctors steps in and gets the doctor in blue to back off. The resident doctor kept pointing at the man wearing a white vest before moving away from the bed.

The details of what happened that the doctor mercilessly beat up the man are not clear. News agency ANI reported that Raghu Sharma, the health minister of Rajasthan, has asked for a report.
